I totally know how this feels. Been through years of Major Depression and Anxiety Disorder. And totally not ashamed of it either. 

I like that the word 'hurts' is in italics. Really drives the point home, I believe. I used to just write things like that in all caps but I think italics are more elegant. You're a step ahead of me on that department.
